Fiber Pulsed Laser to Mark a Wide Range of Plastics and Metals

Macsa id - Laser Coding

SPA HPD

HPD Series are powerful, high performance CO2 lasers. They deliver exceptionally high-power density which enables them to be effective in cutting and perforating flexible plastic films and foils and other materials, marking high resolution images onto several non-metallic substrates and coding difficult to code substrates. This combination of cutting and coding makes HPD lasers appropriate for integration with form, fill and seal and similar equipment where it is needed to both.

Laser Scoring
Precise control of the properties of the laser beam allows the selective cutting of layers in the most complex plastic films.

Laser Perforation
Polymers allow the transport of low molecular weight components, resulting in the permeation of oxygen, water, components of food aromas and any other gases and vapors.

Laser Coding
Spot size is directly proportional to the wavelength of the laser, beam quality (M2) and focal distance of the lens.

High Quality. Competitive. Excellence.
SPA2 D diode pumped solid state lasers are widely used in packaged goods applications including bottles, tubes and liquid dispensers.
They are typically used to code plastic substrates (excluding PET and PVC).
  • UV and Green wavelength options enable challenging substrates to be coded and for marking plastics with minimal thermal impacts.
  • Ideal for delivering bold contrast, boosting the visual quality and legibility.
  • DUO Dual Processor Technology enables high-speed and high-quality printing with variable data.
  • 10.1-inch touch screen controller with context sensitive HELP and on-line instruction videos.
  • Protection enclosure is available for washdown (IP65) environments.
